Emily Kinsolving is an Austin-based visual storyteller.
I grew up on the border in South Texas and picked up a camera at a young age because like a lot of 90’s kids, I wanted to be a National Geographic photographer. That didn’t quite pan out, but I did attend UT Austin, where I completed my photojournalism degree in 2009.
I spent 8 years in NYC thereafter and loved every minute of it. Most of my work was commercial, but I also shot weddings, portraits, and events. By pure coincidence I left New York the day before the first confirmed covid case, escaping with my best friend and every vinyl record I owned in a van headed for Austin.
Now I work full-time as a Multimedia Producer for the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin. Please reach out with any inquiries. I’d love to hear from you!
